Foundation History

On Saturday, January 14, 1984, six lucky numbers (2,12,29,31,44,46) allowed Stuart & Lillian Kelly of Brantford, Ontario the freedom from the usual money concerns. Winning almost 14 Million dollars in Canada's Lotto 6/49 (at the time, the largest tax free jackpot in the world), they decided to dedicate their lives to helping others. This not only included their immediate family but they also chose to create a foundation that would service the community they grew up in.

Later that same year, The Stuart Ross & Lillian Marie Kelly Foundation was formed. Using seed money donated by the Kelly's, the Foundation runs independently as a Charitable Foundation under the laws of Canada.

Now, 20 years later, the Foundation continues to service and help Brantford and Brant County.
